and why it matters.

OURCHIVES is a peer-circle tutoring platform built for families who want something different. It is not a marketplace. It is not drop-in tutoring. It is a commitment-based program where children learn in small, stable cohorts of 2 to 5 students with a consistent tutor who knows them by name.

Founder Melek Dexter came to onticworks.io with a clear product vision and a clear constraint: this had to be built right, and it had to be affordable. onticworks.io delivered the complete platform as a fixed-fee work-for-hire engagement under social enterprise pricing.

All code, configurations, integrations, and systems are the sole property of OURCHIVES upon final payment. onticworks.io retains no ownership or license over any deliverable.

The platform deliberately excludes:

  • Grades, rankings, leaderboards, or performance scores of any kind
  • Child-facing dashboards or logins
  • Direct parent-to-tutor messaging
  • AI-driven personalization or behavioral profiling
  • Competitive awards, badges, or points systems
  • Any data used to rank or compare children
