OnticWorks.io ("OnticWorks", "we", "us", or "our") is a service of AS Peoria LLC d/b/a Avid Solutions International, an Illinois limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our website and services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Information you provide directly — name, email address, company name, project details, and payment information when you sign up, contact us, or subscribe.
• Information collected automatically — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs, via analytics tools and standard server logs.
• Information from third-party services — billing and subscription status from QuickBooks Online (Intuit), authentication identity from Microsoft, Google, or Apple if you sign in with one of those providers.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the OnticWorks platform, including the OnticBot AI assistant.
• To process subscriptions, generate invoices, and deliver paid services.
• To respond to inquiries, support requests, and project consultations.
• To send service-related communications (e.g., billing reminders, security notices, product updates relevant to your account).
• To improve our services, develop new features, and conduct internal analytics.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g., Microsoft Azure for hosting, QuickBooks Online for billing, Anthropic or OpenAI for AI processing of OnticBot conversations, email delivery providers).
• Legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.
• Business successors in connection with any merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. AI Assistant (OnticBot) Specifics

When you interact with OnticBot, your messages are sent to a third-party AI provider (currently Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service or Anthropic, depending on your subscription tier) to generate responses. Conversation contents are processed under the AI provider's terms and may be retained for safety review for a limited period. Do not share information you would not want processed by an AI provider.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, and secure authentication. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and billing information for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal and accounting requirements. Anonymous analytics data may be retained indefinitely. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9).

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect site functionality.

8. Children's Privacy

OnticWorks is not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us at info@onticworks.io and we will delete it.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@onticworks.io. We will respond within 30 days.

10. International Users

OnticWorks is operated from the United States. By using the service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, which may have data protection laws different from those of your country.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the site.
